Anna Scarborough, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
Anna has a Master’s of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Following graduation, Anna worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an elementary school setting in rural Nebraska. She worked with students with a variety of communication disorders including articulation, language delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and cognitive delay. In January of 2019 Anna moved to Minnesota to work with young children with autism. She primarily worked with emerging communicators to develop a functional communication system for each child to promote increased functional communication while decreasing challenging behaviors. Anna also has experience working with an acute inpatient population in diagnosing and treating swallowing disorders.
Anna is passionate about helping individuals across the life span to develop a functional communication system so that their values and opinions can be shared with the world around them. She also has special interests in feeding and swallowing disorders.
When she is not providing therapy, Anna is spending time with her beloved dog, Edith, who is training to be a certified therapy animal. She also enjoys reading, learning, and traveling.
